I am excited to pursue and share knowledge related to the emerging science of Lifestyle Medicine. The past several decades have taught us that magic bullets in the form of medications are rare and always come with side effects. Lifestyle Medicine doesn’t provide magic bullets either, but it promises huge benefits in terms of prevention and treatment for so many chronic diseases, often with fewer severe side effects. What if one lifestyle intervention impacted multiple diseases at once? That is one powerful pill!
